BRUCE TOMS (Executive Producer, UNDER ONE ROOF)

Bruce Toms is the executive producer of UPN's UNDER ONE ROOF, a new family-based reality series in which a diverse cross-section of American families are sent to Fiji to put aside their domestic differences and then compete with the other families in Fijian-culture-inspired challenges to win a luxurious beachfront home.

In 1986, Toms was a founding partner of Evolution Film & Tape where he was involved in all aspects of launching the company. Evolution grew to become one of the most prolific television production companies in Hollywood and its clients included WGBH, CAA, Vanity Fair, E! Entertainment Television and all of the major broadcast networks. While Toms was at Evolution, the company was nominated for two Cleo Awards and won a Silver Plaque in the documentary division at the Chicago Film Festival for "Change the World."

In 1993, Toms became lead director on MTV's critically acclaimed series "The Real World - Venice." He was also lead director on "Road Rules" (seasons 3-8) from 1997 to 1999 and was nominated for a CableAce Award in 1998. In 2000, he produced and directed "Road Rules" (season 9) and was nominated for an Emmy.

After wrapping "Road Rules," Toms served as co-producer of the Fox Television reality series "The Love Cruise."

In addition to producing, Toms has worked as a writer, editor, director, production designer and creative consultant.

Toms, a Minnesota native, currently lives in Hollywood.
