Taheed and Ytassie, How Low Can You Go? 2/2/01 Taheed! Ytassie! Shame on them! They have a baby at home! What were they thinking? Could they possibly have believed that a trip to Temptation Island would be worth jeopardizing their family? The security and stability of their child's world? Okay, obviously Ytassie and Taheed have some issues in their relationship. That became evident to the world on the very first episode, immediately after dinner. But honestly, did they really think that a stint on a tropical island, surrounded by singles attempting to seduce them, would somehow do their already troubled relationship any good? Perhaps they did. If so, how foolish of them. But apparently they were not alone in their self-delusion. At the beginning, didn't all the couples say, in one way or another: "Oh, we just thought this would be a great opportunity to have a great vacation, have some fun, cut loose, etc." But they all added that they believed that their relationship was going to be "even stronger" in the end. Yeah, right. It sure seems to be working well for everybody. Especially Ytassie and Taheed. They weren't even speaking by video. When the producers finally wised up (how difficult would it have been to check this out beforehand?), Ytassie and Taheed were kicked out of the group. They were, however, offered a separate suite, presumably away from any further temptation, so that they could have some time to work things out. Hope they take advantage of this opportunity. A family's future is on the line.
