As Donald Trump continues to search for his apprentice, Reality Central founder Blake Mycoskie has announced a nationwide search for THE INTERN. Reality Central is a 24/7 reality television cable network poised to launch in late 2004 with industry heavyweights Kay Koplovitz (founder of USA Networks and Sci Fi Channel), Larry Namer (founder of E! Entertainment Television), and Blake Mycoskie leading the charge. Interns do not have to leave their hometown or college campus to participate. Seven contestants will be selected for a 4-month (120 day) regional internship in which they will compete against each other in a number of marketing, publicity, and entrepreneurial challenges revolving around the upcoming launch of Reality Central. Each intern will be armed with a digital camcorder to document his or her weekly progress. Each intern will have direct interaction with Blake Mycoskie via: " Weekly phone call to discuss challenges and results " Visit from Mr. Mycoskie to hometown or college during internship period, in which contestant will have strategy sessions and co-host a promotional event with reality stars and a local radio station. " Their personal creation of a video diary that Mr. Mycoskie will review and comment on regularly. Results of the competition will be posted bi-monthly on Reality Central's website, and one winner will be selected at the end of the 4 month period. The winner will receive an all expense paid trip to Los Angeles to spend time with Blake Mycoskie, meet the Reality Central team, and get an inside look at business in Hollywood. In addition, they will probably become a reality star!
