Bob Guiney to Release First Major Album on Wind Up Records

CD Titles 3 Sides to Hit Stores November 25th.

New York --- Bob Guiney, the TV personality who has charmed the hearts of people all across America, is returning to his first love - music. This love will manifest itself on November 25th when Wind-up Records releases the album titled 3 Sides.

Guiney, always a songwriter at heart, had two previous independent releases in 1995 and 1997 with his band "Fat Amy". The Detroit born band, formed during Bob's college years, toured extensively throughout the Midwest and South before taking a hiatus in 1999. Bob and "Fat Amy" got so far as to make the traditional industry rounds of showcasing Bob's music five years ago. Wind-up Records was one of the labels that took an initial look at the band. However, Wind-up had just recently released their first band (Creed) at the time of Guiney's showcase, and ultimately decided to hold off on signing any more bands that year, consumed by the launch and success of their new signing.

Fast-forward five years to a time when Bob's name can constantly be seen in print and heard on television… Label president Steve Lerner became reintroduced to Guiney's name and was reminded of his fondness for Bob's music. The label contacted him, received his most current repertoire of songs, and offered the opportunity to Guiney that he had desperately sought those five years earlier.

Says Guiney about his Wind-up signing and CD release, "Music has always been my first love. Wind-up was always a label I felt comfortable with in more ways than one. They're a family. And they're not interested in ANYTHING but the music."

President Steve Lerner agrees, "Within Wind-up, we never forgot the presence and passion Bob had for his music, and we know he has the talent to establish himself as a career music artist."
