Call - World Series of Pop Culture on VH1 11/17/06
CALLING ALL POP CULTURE TRIVIA FANATICS!
VH1 & ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY ARE HITTING THE ROAD AGAIN FOR
SEASON 2 OF... THE WORLD SERIES OF POP CULTURE!!
DO YOU THINK THAT YOU COULD'VE WIPED THE FLOOR WITH LAST SEASON'S
COMPETITION TO TAKE HOME THE $250,000 GRAND PRIZE? THEN PUT DOWN THE
REMOTE, GET OFF THAT COUCH, & FORM YOUR OWN TEAM OF 3 &
PROVE IT!
The World Series of Pop Culture tournament, which will be taped
to air on VH1 Summer 2007, will take place March 22nd - 24th in NYC.
Casting Calls followed by Regional Qualifying Games will be held
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!
New York City: January 19th - 21st
Los Angeles: January 26th - 28th
Chicago: February 2nd - 4th Austin: February 9th - 11th
Orlando: February 16th - 18th
In each city, Casting Calls will be held on Friday &
Saturday. Select teams will be called back by Producers to play in a
Regional Qualifying Game on Sunday. Callbacks to play in Sunday's
Regional Qualifier Game will come on Saturday night. Your team MUST
be available for the entire weekend in your selected city to be
considered.
The team that wins the Regional Qualifier Game in each city
AUTOMATICALLY advances to The World Series of Pop Culture tournament
being held in NYC in March, 2007.The remaining teams who were chosen
to participate in the Regional Qualifier Games held in each city
will be put into a pool from which the Producers may select up to an
additional ten (10) teams to participate in the Tournament at the
sole discretion of the Producers.
