Call - 16-25 Year Olds for MTV Reality Show 10/29/06
Currently casting for MTV reality program.
1) Looking for high schoolers, aged 16 or up, who aren't exactly
the kings or queens of popularity. If you feel left out of the
popular crowd, and have spent your whole life as an outsider, then
we are looking for you. Always wanted to be prom queen? Always the
last picked in gym? Want to be class president, but no one even
knows who you are? You are the person we're looking for. Want to
make the popular kids feel what it's like to be last picked? You,
too, are the person we're looking for.
Please email us and tell us a little about yourself (interests,
hobbies, friends), your school and your town. Also tell us what your
status is in your school, why you think you qualify as someone who
is "last picked", why you think you deserve a chance at
beating the popular kids at their own game. Of particular interest -
tell us if there are any upcoming events that you feel excluded from
and want to be a part of (proms, homecomings, big games, school
elections, etc.)
2) Also looking for people ages 18 to 25 that embrace their inner
geek. We will send this group out across the country to help high
school kids who feel like outcasts have their day in the sun and
beat out the jocks and the cheerleaders.
If you are between 18 and 25 and this sounds like you, please
send us an email and tell us about your geekiness. What qualifies
you as a geek? What were you like in high school? What do you do
now? Do you have any geek "areas of expertise?" (sci-fi,
math, comupters, drama, etc.) Do you have a specific "geek
type" you fall under? How do you think you'd be able to help a
high schooler who feels awkward and overlooked? If available, please
send a photo as well.
We will be filming in December, and are open to high-schoolers
throughout the country.
