Wanted: Strong family. With even stronger Mother-In-Law!

Maverick Television is looking for a family with a big personality to take part in a new series about sharing the house with your Mother-in-Law! If you know Everybody Loves Raymond, you know what we mean!

We are the producers of the hit show How To Look Good Naked.

We are looking for a family who would be willing to allow their mother-in-law and a film crew to move in for two days, to tape a not-for-broadcast TV pilot. YOU MUST HAVE AVAILABILITY FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF FILMING IN EARLY-MID AUGUST.

The Family

· Happily married couple with 2 or more kids. Ideally kids would be aged between five and fifteen, but not essential.

· Big personalities are important.

The Mother In Law

· Does not currently share the house with her family.

· Needs to think that she can do a better job of running the family home, and can ‘help’ the family by giving them some new rules to live by.

· She’ll have a chance to call the shots and decide everything from what the family eats to how it spends its money and its spare time.

· Needs to be dominant character with strong views!

Tell us your names, ages, home address, contact phone numbers and email address.

Please also send a home-video tape introducing your family and your mother-in-law. We need every member of the family to introduce himself or herself individually. Maximum 2 minutes per person. Tell us about yourself, your job or school-life, your interests, and the things that drive you nuts about your fellow family members and your mother-in-law. We also would like to see 5 minutes maximum of the whole family together on-screen. Tell us why you think you’d be the ideal family for this show.

Please clearly label the tape with your names & phone number(s) and the letters MIL. Acceptable tape formats: VHS, mini-DV, DVD.

All submissions will become the sole property of the Producers once submitted, and will not be returned to you, whether or not you are selected. It is a good idea to make a copy for yourself.

Where: we are looking for families in the Greater Los Angeles area. Payment: the family will receive a fee for participating. Deadline: all applications must be received by MONDAY JULY 21st. We will contact you within four weeks of receipt if we are interested in talking further with you.
