Prilosec OTC Goes Country In an effort to get frequent heartburn
sufferers back to the activities they enjoy, the marketer of
Prilosec OTC has partnered with Nashville Star to raise awareness
about frequent heartburn and treatment options among Country Music
fans. "Country Music is about having fun and sharing
experiences with family and friends and Prilosec OTC helps people
get back to having fun and doing what they love to do." said
Kip Olmstead, Brand Manager of Prilosec OTC. Procter & Gamble
has launched a new portion of the Prilosec OTC Web site geared
toward the Country Music lover. The site includes free music
downloads and Country Music related news and prizes. "As a
frequent heartburn sufferer who has discovered Prilosec OTC, I have
partnered with Procter & Gamble to help educate people about the
condition and how it can be treated effectively," said Phil
Vassar. "My heartburn would often affect me during my
performances making it difficult for me to sing. It was keeping me
from putting my all into what I love to do most -- perform. Prilosec
OTC made me realize that I didn't have to suffer, and I can now
focus on just having fun on stage."
